Creative direction

Employed as a creative director / art director, Michelle has art directed and designed a few different projects. Below are some designs from her time with various organisations:

Bauer magazines

While working on Australian Outdoor magazine Michelle was asked to refresh the design. After the re-design, the magazine became very popular with advertisers and sales revenue increased substantially. A few months after the re-launch,  Australian Geographic decided to take this title under its banner as their ‘adventure’ title.

Attracting the eye of the Australian Geographic, was a very huge achievement for a little niche magazine. Michelle was pleased the effort put into re-designing the magazine helped elevate the brand and got recognition from the Australian Geographic team.

The Cancer Institute NSW

While working at the Cancer Institute Michelle helped with implementing their new brand and visual identity. Below are poster designs displaying the Core Values, Mission and Vision of the organisation. The posters were created to get buy-in from the staff and to empower and inspire all staff about the values they were required to display when dealing with external stakeholders and clients.

iPad apps

Michelle developed and designed her very first iPad app while commissioned by Green Cross Australia. Since then, Michelle has also worked on Medical Observer helping release monthly issues of this magazine on iPad. Here are some images of the Medical Observer iPad app.
