Employed as a creative director / art director, Michelle has art directed and designed a few different projects. Below are some designs from her time with various organisations:
While working on Australian Outdoor magazine Michelle was asked to refresh the design. After the re-design, the magazine became very popular with advertisers and sales revenue increased substantially. A few months after the re-launch, Australian Geographic decided to take this title under its banner as their ‘adventure’ title.
Attracting the eye of the Australian Geographic, was a very huge achievement for a little niche magazine. Michelle was pleased the effort put into re-designing the magazine helped elevate the brand and got recognition from the Australian Geographic team.
While working at Thomson Reuters, Michelle helped design and produce various magazines including: Recruitment Extra, Australasian Legal Business (ALB), the Australian Corporate Lawyer (ACLA) and magazine supplements for ALB and Recruitment Extra. Michelle also designed various digital ads and web banners as required.
Edge Content Agency (Edge)
While employed by Edge as their Creative Director, Michelle oversaw the design and production of collateral produced for 22 blue-chip clients. She was also responsible for designing work for a few of the clients and here are some designs of the work she produced while at Edge.
Many of Michelle’s designs were recipients of awards and commendations from Publishers Australia Excellence Awards for design, innovation and special projects.
