Case Study 6: Brand & Visual Identity

Government and charity sectors

I extended my design and leadership skills, working within the marketing, media and comms division of a local government agency and a charity.

I enjoyed the challenge of design, development and implementation of the new visual identity for each of the companies. This experience definitely expanded my skills as I deployed the new brand across various touch points including village signage, real estate advertising, billboards, sales signboards, fleet of vehicles, conference and outdoor collateral ie. gazebos, pull up banners plus all the regular marketing collateral (print/digital) ie. brochures, flyers, posters, street talk posters, booklets, postcards.

I created mock designs to inform the look and feel of the new websites, produced concepts for annual and state report ministerial launches, used data visualisation to communicate statistics/data in an engaging way, created infographics for CALD and multi-cultural communities, created designs for mature-aged, NDIS and dementia clients, created unique products for conferences and premier awards events and even came up with entertainment ideas for some of the premier award events.

COMMERCIAL BENEFITS:

  • elevated brand awareness of both organisations.
  • increased brand recognition.
  • increased credibility in the market.
